Part Time Trauma

About the event

The band began as a songwriting project between vocalist Mike Ciocchi and bassist Max Mena shortly after college. At the time, Mike was living upstate while Max was in the city, so every few weeks they’d meet up, write songs, record demos, and, naturally, stay up way too late doing it. What started as a handful of songs slowly became something bigger. After Mike moved back to the city, the two continued writing and eventually joined forces with Marc Villarica-Remache (drums) and Christopher Chin (guitar/vocals), turning the project into the band it is today. Part Time Trauma pulls from a wide range of influences, blending alternative, post-punk, pop rock, pop-punk, and classic arena rock into something that feels both nostalgic and modern. Think big sing-along choruses, energetic guitars, and songs built to be played loud and to fill a room.
